Welcome to the Wisconsin Toastmasters Club #3490 Website! This site is intended to help our members achieve educational and leadership goals. We also hope to tell those who have visited us (or would like to visit us) a little more about our club and Toastmasters International.
| TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL |
Toastmasters International is for people who want to develop effective communication and leadership skills. The organization was founded in October of 1924 by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley. His goal was to educate people in the art of effective communication.
The organization has grown from a single club in the basement of the YMCA in Santa Ana, California, to over 9,300 clubs meeting in approximately 70 countries worldwide. The Toastmasters organization is a way for people to learn how to present themselves in a public speaking manner in an effective and enjoyable style. Toastmaster clubs continue to thrive all over the world offering communication ideas, styles and disciplines to over 190,000 members.

| WHO ARE WE? |
Wisconsin Toastmasters Club 3490 was chartered on September 1st, 1963. It is now one of the largest clubs in the Metropolitan Milwaukee area, with over 20 members. The club uses Toastmasters ideas and concepts to educate its members to be confident in their speaking abilities and also to teach them effective leadership skills.
Wisconsin Club meets every 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month at the Bavarian Inn restaurant in Glendale. The club is a public club, which means that anyone may come and join us for an evening of education and leadership training! Meetings start at 7:45 p.m and usually end around 9:00 p.m. Members of the club participate in assigned activities to help them grow and learn how to communicate more effectively.
We would like to invite you to attend a meeting. Come visit us! You are also welcome to sit with us for dinner beforehand, since we are a dinner club.
